About the role

The Part‑Time Thrift Store Associate supports Elevate Branson’s mission by generating revenue through the Elevate Thrift Store. The role involves handling all retail operations, from the register to customer interactions, while maintaining a welcoming store environment.

Key responsibilities

• Control inventory by sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items.
• Operate the point‑of‑sale system efficiently and process cash, check, credit‑card and voucher payments.
• Maintain a clean, safe and attractive store environment, including checkout areas.
• Provide courteous customer service, build positive relationships with shoppers and donors, and promote store promotions.
• Count money, reconcile sales totals and handle cash register duties accurately.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of experience in a customer‑focused, retail environment.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to work with diverse socio‑economic and cultural backgrounds.
• Basic math and cash‑handling abilities.
• Commitment to Elevate Branson’s mission, vision and values.
• Availability to work Saturdays and variable shifts.
