Part-Time Tailor – SoHo Store

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time tailor to join our Levi’s® store in SoHo, New York. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality alteration and repair services while providing an exceptional customer experience. You will be the primary point of contact for customers seeking alterations and will help maintain the store’s reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the craftsmanship strategy together with the Lead Tailor or Store Manager.
• Perform basic alteration services such as hemming, patching, repairs, and tapering.
• Collaborate on additional tailoring projects as needed.
• Provide strong customer service to enhance the client experience.
• Explain and deliver all tailoring services offered by the shop.
• Educate and train store team members on alteration options and processes.

Required profile

• Working knowledge of the denim industry and current trends.
• Basic understanding of textiles and fabrics.
• Detail‑oriented with a design mindset.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast‑paced retail environment.
