Part-Time Tailor – SoHo, New York

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time tailor to join our Levi’s® store in SoHo, New York. The role focuses on providing high‑quality alteration and repair services for denim and other apparel, while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic alterations such as hemming, patching, repairing and tapering.
• Execute technical tailoring tasks that require specialized equipment, including fitting and detailed appearance adjustments.
• Provide outstanding customer service and advise shoppers on alteration options.
• Train and educate store team members on tailor‑shop services and product knowledge.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of professional sewing or tailoring experience, preferably with denim.
• Strong knowledge of denim construction, fabrics and the machines used for denim repair.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift and perform repetitive hand motions.
