Part-Time Tailor – Embroidery (Times Square)

About the role

Levi Strauss & Co. is seeking a part‑time Tailor to join its Times Square store. The role focuses on providing high‑quality alteration and embroidery services, ensuring every customer leaves with a perfect fit and a great experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform basic alterations such as hemming, patch repairs, tapering, and more technical tailoring tasks.
• Handle denim and other fabrics, using specialized equipment for detailed adjustments.
• Resolve customer concerns related to tailoring in line with company policy.
• Train and educate store team members on tailoring services and standards.
• Maintain accurate cash handling and inventory procedures for the Tailor Shop.
• Promote the Red Tab Loyalty program and suggest outfit combinations based on current trends.

Required profile

• Passion for fashion and strong knowledge of denim and current trends.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 lb and perform standing, kneeling, and bending tasks.
