Part-Time Social Media Content Specialist

About the role

Greystar is seeking a part-time Social Media Content Specialist to create and publish engaging visual content for its property assets. The role works closely with the Digital Marketing team and on-site property staff to capture high-quality photos and short-form videos for organic channels such as Facebook, Instagram and TikTok.

Key responsibilities

• Travel to assigned properties to shoot photo and video content as the primary on-site producer.
• Coordinate shoot schedules with property staff, identify key spaces and ensure uninterrupted access.
• Follow shot lists, logistics plans and creative briefs to maximize content output.
• Capture and edit short-form video optimized for Reels and TikTok, applying platform-specific storytelling techniques.
• Operate camera equipment, mobile devices and stabilization tools (gimbals, tripods) in varied lighting conditions.
• Edit video end-to-end using tools such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere, adding royalty-free music, transitions, text overlays and effects.

Required profile

• Willingness to travel regularly to different property locations.
• Ability to coordinate with on-site staff and manage shoot logistics.
• Capability to receive and follow creative direction from the Organic Social Media Territory Leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with video-editing software (CapCut, Adobe Premiere or similar).
• Experience operating camera equipment and stabilization tools (gimbals, tripods).
• Strong visual storytelling for short-form platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
