Part-time & Limited Term Faculty – Economics

About the role

Kennesaw State University is seeking qualified candidates for a pool of part‑time and limited‑term faculty positions in the Department of Economics, Finance, and Quantitative Analysis for the 2025‑26 academic year. Appointments will be made on an as‑needed, semester‑by‑semester basis, with rank determined at the time of hiring.

Key responsibilities

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in economics, finance, or quantitative analysis on a part‑time basis.
• Develop and deliver course materials, assignments, and assessments aligned with departmental standards.
• Participate in departmental meetings, curriculum planning, and student advising as required.
• Engage in scholarly activities such as research projects, faculty‑mentored student research, or involvement with university research centers.

Required profile

• Earned graduate degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Economics, Finance, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated ability to teach at the university level, preferably with experience in both theoretical and applied courses.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to student success.
