Part-Time House Manager & Family Assistant (Meal Prep)

About the role

We are a busy family of four seeking a reliable part‑time House Manager and Family Assistant to keep our home running smoothly. The role focuses on meal planning, household organization, and providing supportive assistance to the parents and children during weekday afternoons.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and serve 4–5 healthy family dinners each week, plus school lunches and occasional weekend meals.
• Maintain an organized, well‑stocked kitchen and handle grocery shopping, inventory, and waste reduction.
• Perform daily resets of high‑traffic areas, manage pantry, playroom, closets, and seasonal clothing rotation.
• Oversee all laundry tasks, change linens, and keep the laundry area orderly.
• Support family logistics: pack backpacks, track calendars, organize weekend supplies, and provide occasional evening babysitting.
• Handle pet care for the family cat, including feeding, litter maintenance, and veterinary appointments.
• Coordinate vendors, manage household errands, receive deliveries, and maintain the family vehicle.
