About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator to join its Baltimore service center. You will work on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock moving freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53 feet long.
Key responsibilities
- Operate a forklift to load and unload freight from enclosed trailers.
- Handle freight safely while reading manifests and interacting with computer displays.
- Maintain a clean and organized dock area.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Previous forklift experience, preferably in a high‑volume setting.
- Some experience with LTL (less‑than‑truckload) operations is preferred.
