About the role
R+L Carriers is seeking a part‑time Forklift Operator for its Paducah, KY service center. The role involves safely moving a variety of freight in and out of enclosed trailers on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock. The position offers a starting wage of $23.26 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Move freight safely in and out of trailers up to 53 feet long.
- Operate a forklift on a roofed, non‑climate‑controlled dock.
- Read manifests and interact with computer displays to track loads.
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Required profile
- Ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.
- Dependable and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Prior forklift experience, preferably in a fast‑paced or LTL setting.
- Ability to read manifests and use computer displays.
