Part-time Day Porter – Immediate Hire in Huntsville, AL

About the role

Corpcare Services Inc. is seeking a reliable, professional, and detail‑oriented Day Porter to join its facilities team in Huntsville, AL. This part‑time position is essential for keeping the workplace clean, safe and well‑presented for employees, visitors and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of designated areas throughout the facility during operating hours.
• Provide ongoing restroom maintenance, restocking supplies and cleaning fixtures.
• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as wiping surfaces, sanitizing touch points, dusting, sweeping and mopping.
• Empty and replace trash receptacles throughout the building.
• Respond promptly to cleaning requests, spills and other maintenance needs.
• Keep entryways, hallways, breakrooms and high‑traffic zones presentable at all times.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate replenishment needs.
• Assist with basic upkeep tasks and coordinate with the facilities team when additional support is needed.
• Follow all safety standards, company protocols and site‑specific requirements.
• Provide courteous customer service to on‑site staff and visitors.

Required profile

• Prior janitorial or day porter experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and perform tasks throughout the shift.
• Dependability and a professional demeanor.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States and pass background screening.
