On-Premise Sales Representative – Santa Barbara

About the role

We are a specialist in the beer, wine and spirits sector seeking an enthusiastic Sales Representative to manage on‑premise accounts in the Santa Barbara area. The role involves building strong relationships with customers, promoting supplier brands, and delivering exceptional service while traveling to client locations.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned accounts daily, following an efficient route plan.
• Identify sales opportunities, complete required surveys, and ensure compliance with national account standards.
• Deliver professional sales presentations that highlight new products, bar placements, drink lists and promotions.
• Maintain product inventory on‑site, restocking shelves where legally permitted.
• Provide brand education through staff training seminars.
• Process credits, returns and manage receivables, communicating with accounts on overdue payments.
• Address customer issues, deliver products in special circumstances, and escalate concerns as needed.
• Achieve sales, volume and merchandising targets set by management.
• Monitor inventory levels, alerting management to potential stock shortages.
• Collect payments and support new account openings in collaboration with the Field Sales Manager.

Required profile

• Current associate eligible to apply through the internal Career Portal.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for traveling to customer locations.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Self‑motivated, organized and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment.
