About the role
The OGC Advisory Counselor Attorney provides strategic legal guidance across PwC’s internal and client engagements. Reporting at Director level, the role supports regulatory and public policy matters, prepares teams for investigations, and safeguards the firm’s reputation.
Key responsibilities
- Advise internal stakeholders and clients on regulatory and public policy issues affecting commercial activities.
- Respond to regulator‑initiated inquiries and investigations, and prepare partners and staff for public hearings.
- Lead contract negotiations, dispute resolution, and risk mitigation efforts.
- Design and implement corporate compliance programs and policies.
- Conduct legal analysis of regulatory changes and develop response strategies.
- Collaborate with the Office of General Counsel to drive innovation and technological advances.
- Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies to ensure compliance standards are met.
- Oversee regulatory submission projects, including management and reporting.
Required profile
- Juris Doctorate (JD) degree.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant legal experience.
- Proven ability to lead client engagements with a strategic mindset.
- Experience mentoring and coaching within a professional network.
