About the role
The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join its clinical staff. This full‑time, day‑shift position supports patient care by performing diagnostic nuclear imaging procedures in a collaborative, patient‑focused environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol.
- Operate gamma cameras and other nuclear imaging equipment to acquire high‑quality diagnostic images.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with radiation safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Required profile
- Current University of Arkansas System employee or eligible candidate.
- Legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment.
- Relevant certification or licensure for nuclear medicine (e.g., ARRT Nuclear Medicine).
- Ability to work day shift in an onsite clinical setting.
- Commitment to teamwork, patient care, and adherence to safety standards.
