NLEA Operator – 3rd Shift Production

About the role

The NLEA Operator works on the 3rd‑shift production line ensuring that pizza products meet strict food‑safety and labeling standards. This role combines equipment operation, quality verification, and record‑keeping to deliver safe, ready‑to‑eat products to consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Verify correct nutritional labels and stickers on all pizzas.
• Perform routine metal detector (LOMAS) tests to ensure equipment functionality.
• Conduct product weight audits using computerized systems.
• Set up, operate, program, monitor, and tear down labeling and metal detection equipment.
• Inspect products for quality issues, box, label, and document damaged or rejected pizzas.
• Maintain accurate production and quality records and keep work areas clean and safe.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed procedures and food safety standards.
• Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn production software.
• Ability to work 12‑hour shifts in hot and cold environments and lift up to 50 lb.
• Effective teamwork in a fast‑paced manufacturing setting.
• Basic English communication skills, both verbal and written.
