About the role
The National Analytic Consultant – Employee Benefits will lead and support data analytics activities for the IOA Benefits Group on a national scale. The role involves collecting, analyzing, and interpreting underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to provide actionable insights for underwriting, renewal negotiations, funding analyses, and strategic client decisions. The position works remotely within the Eastern Time Zone, primarily serving the Longwood, FL office.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and interpret underwriting, claims, financial, and benefits data to support client strategy and decision‑making.
- Evaluate underwriting data and develop recommendations for carrier pricing, negotiations, and funding analyses.
- Deliver data‑driven insights that help clients understand risks, trends, opportunities, and program performance.
- Partner with Producers and Benefits teams to provide analytical support for renewals, presentations, prospecting, and business development initiatives.
- Create reports, dashboards, financial exhibits, and presentations that communicate complex information clearly.
- Develop and maintain analytics methodologies, reporting standards, and best practices.
- Utilize and evaluate analytics, reporting, and business intelligence tools to enhance client outcomes.
- Analyze trends, benchmarking data, and financial metrics to identify optimization opportunities.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency, reporting accuracy, and service delivery.
- Collaborate with Senior Analytic Consultants, Producers, Account Teams, carriers, and internal stakeholders to support client objectives.
Required profile
- 5–7 years of experience in data analytics, underwriting, or employee benefits analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote environment with a dedicated, distraction‑free workspace.
- Excellent collaboration skills to partner with cross‑functional teams and external carriers.
