Mobile Software Engineer

About the role

Kalshi is building the world’s largest financial market by turning any future event into a tradable asset. We are looking for a highly execution‑oriented Mobile Engineer to own and scale our mobile application, delivering a seamless trading experience to our users.

Key responsibilities

• Own the end‑to‑end development, performance, and quality of Kalshi’s mobile app.
• Design, build, test, and ship customer‑facing features using Flutter.
• Implement core mobile capabilities such as push notifications, biometric authentication, and device‑level integrations.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Architect UI, manage application state, and integrate cleanly with backend APIs.
• Make architectural decisions that ensure long‑term scalability and reliability.
• Drive deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the app.
• Mentor junior mobile engineers and help establish engineering best practices.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional experience building customer‑facing software.
• Strong ownership mindset and ability to ship high‑quality features quickly.
• Excellent technical judgment and comfort handling complex systems.
