Mobile Hose Technician

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Mobile Hose Technician to perform hose testing services on‑site at customer facilities along the Gulf Coast, supporting profitability and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Perform hose testing services on‑site at various customer facilities in accordance with GHX documented procedures.
• Independently operate all required test equipment.
• Regularly suggest improvements for hose testing services and work on continuous improvement projects for lean, quality and safety.
• Travel extensively along the Gulf Coast region between Texas and Louisiana.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED.
• 3 years industrial shop experience (5+ years preferred).
• Ability to obtain and maintain required site credentials (e.g., TWIC, safety training).
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment and travel extensively.

Required skills

• Knowledge of hoses and fittings.
• Understanding of GHX and customer hose testing policies and procedures.
• Ability to drive a hose testing rig (F250 class 4‑door pickup with 24‑ft trailer).
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly, up to 70 lb occasionally, and stand for extended periods in non‑climate‑controlled environments.
