About the role
CivicPlus is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable Android and iOS applications. You will play a key part in modernising the mobile platform by migrating native apps to a cross‑platform Flutter architecture, delivering high‑quality experiences for local government organisations.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain Android features using Kotlin and Java.
- Design, develop, and maintain iOS features using Swift.
- Migrate existing native applications to Flutter and define shared component strategies.
- Collaborate with product, design, QA, DevOps, and backend teams to implement new features.
- Write clean, testable code and participate in code reviews.
- Debug and resolve performance issues, crashes, and platform inconsistencies.
- Implement unit and integration tests and support CI/CD pipelines.
- Stay current with mobile development trends and mentor junior developers.
Required profile
- 5–10+ years of professional software development experience.
- 3–5+ years developing Android apps with Kotlin.
- 2+ years developing iOS apps with Swift.
- 2+ years developing production‑grade Flutter applications.
- Experience with mobile modernization or migration projects.
- Strong understanding of MVVM, MVI, or Redux‑style state management.
- Proficiency integrating RESTful APIs and using Git.
- Experience writing unit and/or integration tests.
