Marketing & Fan Engagement Coordinator

About the role

The Marketing & Fan Engagement Coordinator supports the Assistant Athletics Director for Marketing and Fan Engagement in creating and executing promotional campaigns for Fresno State Athletics. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on growing the fan base, increasing ticket revenue, and enhancing the university’s athletic brand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead marketing and fan‑engagement initiatives for assigned sports while supporting football and men’s basketball.
• Manage primary social‑media platforms and digital branding efforts.
• Develop and execute campus, student, and general promotional campaigns.
• Design and promote single‑game, group, and season‑ticket sales campaigns.
• Serve as the lead marketing liaison for assigned sports and coordinate with the multimedia rights holder.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in social‑media marketing and ticket‑sales campaigns.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of Title IX, NCAA rules, and compliance.
• Ability to build effective relationships with faculty, staff, partners, and the public.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok.
• Adobe Photoshop and Sound Director.
• Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Web page development and general PC competency.
