About the role

The Marina General Manager oversees all aspects of marina operations, ensuring safe, secure, efficient, and profitable service for vessel owners and guests. This leadership position coordinates staff, finances, maintenance, and customer relations to maintain high standards and achieve business objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Represent the organization in all business relationships and maintain professional communication with customers, vessel owners, and internal departments.
• Manage daily dock arrivals and departures, including radio communications and slip‑usage planning.
• Promote marina services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance guest experience.
• Handle all guest financial transactions, verify credit status, compute bills, and collect payments.
• Supervise uniformed staff, schedule work efficiently, and ensure a presentable appearance.
• Order and purchase supplies, keep accurate transaction records, and stay within budget.
• Attend industry events to promote the facility.
• Develop and execute operating plans, control costs, and meet budget targets.
• Oversee maintenance, capital projects, equipment installation, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure 24/7 security coverage and resolve guest complaints promptly.
