Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift

About the role

Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, developing state‑of‑the‑art autonomous surface vessels. We are seeking a 2nd Shift Manufacturing Engineer to design, develop and optimize manufacturing processes for high‑quality ASVs for the Department of Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for autonomous surface vessels.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Collaborate with design, engineering, and supplier teams to integrate specifications into production.
• Establish quality control measures, conduct root‑cause analysis and drive corrective actions.
• Identify and execute continuous‑improvement initiatives across the production workflow.
• Create and maintain documentation to ensure compliance with industry regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field (Master’s a plus).
• Proven experience in manufacturing engineering of complex electromechanical systems.
• Familiarity with autonomous systems, robotics, or maritime technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous‑improvement methodologies.
