Managing Director, Digital Investigations & Cyber Risk

About the role

The Managing Director will lead the expansion of Nardello & Co.'s Digital Investigations and Cyber Risk practice, delivering forensic and investigative services to high‑profile clients. Reporting to the Managing Director & Head of Digital Investigations & Cyber Risk, you will combine strategic business development with hands‑on technical work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a business development plan in close collaboration with senior management.
• Grow the firm’s client base, integrating an existing book of business where applicable.
• Oversee the full case lifecycle—from proposal and budgeting to delivery of digital forensics, incident response, security assessments, and reporting.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams, ensuring quality control, staffing, and client satisfaction.
• Perform digital forensic analysis and provide expert testimony as needed.
• Mentor junior professionals and contribute to the firm’s overall growth strategy.

Required profile

• At least 12 years of experience in digital forensics and cyber response, including senior management roles.
• Proven track record of generating and managing a book of business.
• Extensive experience conducting confidential investigations and delivering expert testimony.
• Strong communication, attention to detail, and ability to motivate high‑performing teams.
• Experience in financial services, technology, health care or life sciences is a plus.
