Maintenance Technician – Wilshire Vermont Station

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of the Wilshire Vermont Station property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete resident work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, repairs, and final inspections.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and promptly to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing trash, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting curbs and signage as needed.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in apartment buildings.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Availability for a Tuesday‑Saturday schedule with on‑call duties.
• Eligibility for a 40% housing discount.
