Maintenance Technician – The Vinoy at Innovation Park

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures that the physical aspects of The Vinoy at Innovation Park—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality. This full‑time position performs technical and mechanical work, responds to resident service requests, and carries out preventative maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including pre‑move‑out inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Maintain inventory of supplies, tools, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Assist with grounds and amenity upkeep by trash removal, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, general cleaning, and painting as required.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Adherence to Greystar’s safety and risk‑management policies, including participation in safety meetings and completion of OSHA training.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule with rotating on‑call duties, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) in all weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.

Required skills

• EPA Type 1 refrigerant recycling certification.
• EPA Type II refrigerant recycling certification.
• Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
