Maintenance Technician – The M Club with $2,000 Sign-On Bonus

About the role

The Maintenance Technician at The M Club Apartments ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing defects and repairing according to policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks and final inspection.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies and equipment, track usage, return unused items and notify the supervisor of re‑order needs.
• Document service requests accurately and timely to ensure proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds, common areas and amenities by cleaning, pressure‑washing, trash removal and painting as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts instead of replacing them and using materials efficiently.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify quality, scope and specifications.
• Participate in routine property inspections to identify safety and risk concerns.

Required profile

• EPA Type 1 and Type 2 or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• All state and local certifications required for service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license (required to operate a golf cart on the property).
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends and holidays, and respond to on‑call duties.
• Physical ability to lift up to 25 lb independently, 50 lb with assistance, and perform tasks in all weather conditions.
