Maintenance Technician – Ridgeview Place

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Ridgeview Place community in Colorado Springs. The role ensures that all building systems, grounds, and common areas meet the company’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident work orders and perform preventative maintenance, diagnosing issues and completing repairs in line with policies and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, tracking usage and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Complete all required documentation promptly and accurately to ensure proper tracking of service requests.
• Maintain grounds and common areas by removing debris, pressure‑washing breezeways and pool areas, performing general cleaning, and painting curbs or signage as needed.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing rather than replacing parts whenever possible and using materials efficiently.
• Participate in safety meetings and adhere to Greystar’s risk‑management policies.

Required profile

• Technical and mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and resolve building‑related issues.
• Strong attention to detail for inspections, documentation, and quality assurance.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with residents, vendors, and team members.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with general maintenance tools and equipment.
