Maintenance Technician – Artessa at Quarry Village

About the role

This position performs technical and mechanical work to ensure the physical aspects of the property—including buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas—meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and making repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Execute the “make‑ready” process for vacant apartments, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, maintenance tasks, and final inspections.
• Track and manage inventory of tools, supplies, and equipment, returning unused items and notifying supervisors of re‑order needs.
• Maintain documentation and paperwork promptly to ensure accurate tracking of service requests.
• Assist with grounds and common‑area upkeep such as trash removal, pressure‑washing, general cleaning, and painting of curbs and signage.
• Support cost‑control initiatives by repairing parts when possible and using materials efficiently.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb unaided and 50 lb with assistance, and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including on‑call duties during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• EPA Type I, Type II, or Universal refrigerant recycling certification.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart where required.
