Maintenance Supervisor – The Weddington Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the interior and exterior of The Weddington community, including grounds, amenities, and common areas, meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, appearance, and functionality. This role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of maintenance processes.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident work orders, diagnosing issues and performing repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, supply procurement, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce standards for the cleanliness and appearance of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, leasing office, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Periodically inspect work performed by team members to ensure compliance with policies and develop corrective action plans as needed.
• Inspect contractor and vendor work to verify that materials, workmanship, and scope meet Greystar’s quality standards.
• Maintain adequate inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor.
• Knowledge and hands‑on experience with boiler systems and fire alarm systems.
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday schedule.

Required skills

• Boiler system operation and maintenance.
• Fire alarm system knowledge.
