Maintenance Supervisor – Notting Hill Community

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor ensures that the Notting Hill community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This full‑time, onsite role involves overseeing work orders, coordinating make‑ready processes and maintaining preventative maintenance programs.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair resident‑reported issues, adhering to safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, exteriors, signage, parking areas and common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts, order supplies within budget, and complete monthly preventative maintenance tasks.
• Assist the Community Manager with budgeting for repairs, maintenance and capital projects.
• Conduct safety meetings, keep MSDS sheets current and ensure OSHA compliance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with relevant property‑maintenance experience.
• Proficiency in customer service, interpersonal communication and basic computer applications (internet, word processing, spreadsheets, databases).
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively with residents, team members and external contacts.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).

Required skills

• EPA Type I and II or Universal HVAC certification.
• Hands‑on experience with hand tools, power tools, mechanical equipment and measuring devices.
• Valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Familiarity with property‑management software (preferred).
