Maintenance Supervisor

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the facilities maintenance team at the Buena Vista Sports Complex, ensuring that all building systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This position coordinates routine repairs, preventive maintenance, and contractor activities across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other building services.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, direct, and evaluate maintenance staff, including hiring, termination, scheduling, and performance appraisals.
• Develop and manage maintenance schedules, proactive programs, and inventory of parts, tools, and supplies.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for HVAC, electrical, hydraulic, and construction projects, preparing specifications and overseeing procurement.
• Maintain accurate records of work orders, inspections, and compliance with safety protocols.
• Drive a City vehicle for business use and perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Knowledge of modern office procedures, computer software, and English grammar.
• Understanding of employee supervision principles, City policies, and cost estimating for repairs.
• Familiarity with mechanical repairs, safety protocols, and construction/ building repair methods.
