Maintenance Supervisor for Multifamily Housing

About the role

The Fitz Apartments are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the upkeep of 64 modern homes and common areas. This role ensures the property meets Greystar’s standards for cleanliness, safety, and functionality while delivering excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Manage outside vendors and follow up on warranties via email and phone.
• Develop and enforce standards for property cleanliness and appearance.
• Perform hot‑water heater repairs and routine maintenance.
• Carry out basic carpentry tasks and assist with roofing repairs.
• Supervise up to five maintenance employees.
• Assist in budgeting for regular repairs, maintenance, and capital expenses.
• Delegate and complete resident work orders promptly.

Required profile

• Extensive maintenance management experience in multifamily housing.
• Strong knowledge of hot‑water heater repair and carpentry.
• Familiarity with various roofing materials (shingle, BUR membrane, EPDM) preferred.
• Proficient in safe use of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Competent with MS Office Suite and property‑management software (Yardi).
