Maintenance Supervisor – Ascend Brightleaf

About the role

The Maintenance Supervisor for Ascend Brightleaf ensures that the community’s buildings, grounds, amenities and common areas meet Greystar’s high standards for cleanliness, safety and functionality. This onsite role combines hands‑on technical work with oversight of make‑ready processes and vendor coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues and perform repairs in accordance with company policies, safety standards and code requirements.
• Manage the make‑ready process for vacant units, including pre‑move‑out inspections, creating punch lists, scheduling vendors, ordering supplies and inspecting completed work.
• Develop and enforce standards for the appearance and upkeep of grounds, building exteriors, breezeways, signage, parking areas and other common spaces.
• Conduct periodic inspections of work performed by team members, contractors and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance materials, coordinating with the Community Manager to replenish supplies as needed.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance, preferably within multifamily residential communities.
• Ability to supervise and coordinate a maintenance team and external vendors.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, mechanical and electrical components, and relevant safety codes.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering high‑quality workmanship.
