Maintenance Manager – Ascend Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee the technical and mechanical upkeep of the Ascend community in Old Town. The role ensures that buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas meet Greystar’s standards for safety, appearance, and functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to resident service requests, diagnose issues, and perform repairs in line with policies, safety standards, and code requirements.
• Manage the “make‑ready” process for vacant units, including inspections, punch‑list creation, vendor coordination, and final quality checks.
• Develop and enforce cleanliness and appearance standards for grounds, building exteriors, interiors, signage, parking areas, and other common spaces.
• Inspect work performed by team members, contractors, and vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, collaborating with the Community Manager to stay within budget.
• Execute monthly preventative maintenance procedures as outlined in company policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in property or facilities maintenance management.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, safety regulations, and code compliance.
• Ability to prioritize work orders, manage vendor relationships, and oversee a maintenance team.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
