Logistics Specialist / Dispatcher – Night Shift

About the role

Delta Fuel Company is seeking a Logistics Specialist / Dispatcher to join the night‑shift team. The role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, overseeing the full order lifecycle from creation to delivery while coordinating drivers and shipments.

Key responsibilities

• Book truck loads and manage daily delivery schedules for drivers.
• Track shipments, provide status updates, and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Maintain driver monthly schedules, time sheets, and HOS/E‑logs while enforcing DOT regulations.
• Support customers, assist with projects, and collaborate with the Transportation Manager and other local managers.
• Oversee new driver training, training schedules, and recommend disciplinary actions.
• Monitor and validate delivery accuracy and driver performance.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, dispatching, or a related field.
• College degree preferred.
• Strong organizational, problem‑solving, and independent work capabilities.
• Professional written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work weekends and night‑shift hours.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Google Drive.
