Litigation Associate Attorney

About the role

Wilson Elser is seeking a motivated Litigation Associate Attorney to join its Houston office. This hybrid position offers flexibility while allowing you to work on sophisticated litigation matters alongside experienced partners and attorneys.

Key responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other court documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate with colleagues across departments and offices to maintain a supportive team environment.
• Independently manage a full litigation caseload from inception to resolution.
• Communicate regularly with clients and provide status updates.

Required profile

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Admission to practice law in Texas.
• Minimum of 2 years of litigation experience.
• Experience in general liability, medical malpractice, premises, products, transportation, employment, or insurance litigation is preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Legal project management experience is a plus.
