Line Cook – Full-time/Part-time

About the role

30hop Restaurant & Bar in Coralville, IA is seeking motivated line cooks to join a fast‑paced, team‑oriented kitchen. Whether you are seasoned or looking to grow your culinary skills, you will work in a collaborative environment that values professionalism and attention to detail.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and organize workstation ingredients, equipment, and supplies before and during service.
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as slicing, portioning, chopping, mixing, and sauce making.
• Cook menu items using grilling, sautéing, frying, and broiling techniques while following recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards for food handling, labeling, storage, and preparation.
• Keep the kitchen clean and organized, sanitize work areas and equipment, and complete assigned cleaning and inventory tasks.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen leadership and team members to ensure smooth service.

Required profile

• At least 18 years old.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lb.
• Comfortable working in a high‑volume, fast‑paced kitchen.
• Previous restaurant or line‑cook experience preferred but not required.
