Leasing Professional – Student Living Apartments

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to manage marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for Delaware Apartments, a student‑living community. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident‑retention goals through full‑cycle leasing and resident satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct community tours, show apartments, and process applications, credit and background checks.
• Prepare lease agreements, move‑in packages, and ensure a smooth resident move‑in experience.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any needed maintenance.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and internet marketing via platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software (e.g., OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to engage and qualify prospective residents.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage applications, lease documentation, and move‑in processes.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust leasing strategies accordingly.
• Proactive approach to marketing, outreach, and community promotion.
