Leasing Professional – Residential Leasing Specialist

About the role

This position coordinates marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies for the Encanto at Mesa Del Sol community, driving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention through full‑cycle leasing activities.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, ensure readiness, and coordinate any maintenance needs.
• Monitor market conditions, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and implement concessions or specials to boost occupancy.
• Execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage resident data.
• Maintain show units to company standards, coordinate with maintenance, and prepare the leasing office for daily activities.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, calls, and thank‑you notes to ensure satisfaction and secure lease renewals.

Required profile

• All state and local licenses/certifications required for leasing, plus a valid driver’s license for operating a golf cart on the property.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, climb ladders, lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance), and work in all weather conditions.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and be on‑call as needed.
