Leasing Professional (Full-time)

About the role

The Leasing Professional is responsible for driving occupancy, revenue and resident satisfaction at a stabilized mid‑rise community. You will manage the full leasing cycle—from prospecting and tours to lease signing and move‑in—while supporting renewal efforts and maintaining high‑quality show units.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct tours, qualify prospects, process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, including resident referral programs and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, resident data and leasing activity.
• Follow up with prospects and residents via email, phone or handwritten notes to secure leases and renewals.
• Respond promptly to resident and owner inquiries, addressing issues or routing them to the appropriate team.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on the property.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, climb ladders and lift up to 25 lb independently (50 lb with assistance).
• Any state‑required leasing licenses or certifications.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Experience using internet marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
