Leasing Professional – Embark

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Embark community, a garden‑style, lease‑up property in Morrisville, NC. You will be responsible for attracting new residents, ensuring a smooth move‑in experience, and maintaining high resident satisfaction throughout the lease term.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments to achieve occupancy and revenue goals.
• Process applications, perform credit and criminal background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate any needed maintenance, and ensure units are ready for residents.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and manage concessions and specials.
• Execute marketing initiatives such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize on‑site property management software to track availability, record leasing activity, and manage prospect and resident data.

Required profile

• Ability to work Monday‑Friday with rotating weekends.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to communicate effectively with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented approach to lease documentation and apartment inspections.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Familiarity with online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
