Leasing Professional – Centerra Community

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Leasing Professional to lead marketing, leasing, and renewal activities for the Centerra community in San Jose. The role focuses on achieving occupancy, revenue, and resident retention goals through proactive leasing and resident satisfaction initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, and show apartments.
• Process applications, perform credit and background checks, and prepare lease and move‑in packages.
• Inspect apartments before move‑in, coordinate with maintenance to ensure readiness.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans.
• Execute marketing tactics such as resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms like Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi) to track availability, record traffic, and manage prospect data.
• Maintain show‑unit standards through daily inspections and coordination with the marketing team.

Required profile

• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build rapport with prospects and residents.
• Detail‑oriented and organized, capable of managing multiple leasing activities simultaneously.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adapt strategies accordingly.

Required skills

• Experience with property management software such as OneSite or Yardi.
• Proficiency in online marketing tools including Craigslist and Facebook.
