Leasing Operations Manager – Apartment Community

About the role

We are seeking a Leasing Operations Manager to lead front‑line resident services and leasing activities at our Abbington West End community in Henrico. The role blends customer interaction, team leadership, and property‑wide operational support.

Key responsibilities

• Engage prospects: answer internet leads, phone calls, schedule tours and showcase the community.
• Process leasing applications, prepare lease paperwork, collect security deposits and ensure lease execution.
• Provide resident service: handle renewals, move‑ins, move‑outs, maintenance coordination, and account inquiries.
• Collaborate with maintenance to inspect units, monitor property needs and follow up on work orders.
• Lead and train the leasing team, set goals and support the Property Manager as needed.

Required profile

• Proven leadership or management experience, preferably in customer‑service, sales or hospitality.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a customer‑first mindset.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment, manage interruptions and adapt to shifting priorities.
