Leader of GTM Technical & Product Execution Excellence

About the role

We are looking for a technically savvy, visionary leader to partner with the SVP of Field Engineering and the broader leadership team of Databricks. This senior role will shape strategy, drive execution at scale, and champion an AI-driven builder culture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the SVP of Field Engineering to define long-term strategy, set OKRs and metrics, and drive critical initiatives.
• Design and test innovative operating models, deciding where to centralize functions and where to delegate accountability.
• Provide inputs on product planning, target setting and resources, and run inspection cadences across Product, Sales, Operations and FE teams.
• Identify and resolve pipeline, product gaps and execution issues in collaboration with regional and product teams.
• Work with Professional Services and Enablement leaders to scale operations using AI, automation and tooling.
• Lead cross-functional influence with Strategy, Operations, Finance, People and other teams to ensure alignment and effective execution.
• Promote a builder-first, AI-first culture by spotting productivity opportunities and driving experimentation.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in strategy, business operations or technical leadership within high-growth technology companies.
• Deep technical understanding of field engineering organizations, enterprise solutions and technology strategy.
• Proven ability to define and execute strategy at scale in complex, technical environments.
• Experience running centralized technical or operational functions and influencing distributed teams.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and experimental mindset with comfort testing new approaches.
• Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and influence skills across Product, Sales, Finance and People.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities with internal and external stakeholders.
• Comfort operating in ambiguity while balancing innovation with operational rigor.
