About the role
The United States Marine Corps is looking for a qualified Lawyer to serve as a Judge Advocate General (JAG). In this full‑time, on‑site position you will provide legal counsel and representation across a range of military and civilian matters, supporting commanders and service members.
Key responsibilities
- Advise commanders on legal issues affecting operations and personnel.
- Represent clients in courtroom and administrative proceedings.
- Draft, review, and interpret military and administrative legal documents.
- Provide expert counsel on both military and civilian legal matters.
Required profile
- Strong analytical, research and verbal communication abilities.
- Ability to perform effectively in high‑pressure, team‑oriented environments.
- Hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited institution and be licensed to practice law, or be actively enrolled in a J.D. program.
