IT Support Technician

About the role

SpaceX is seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to provide end‑to‑end IT services for its high‑caliber engineering, launch, and manufacturing teams. The role involves onboarding, hardware and software lifecycle management, troubleshooting, and supporting critical 24/7 operations in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 1st, 2nd, and 3rd tier support to SpaceX employees, both on‑site and remotely.
• Manage inventory and the full lifecycle of IT assets, including procurement, configuration, and deployment of computers and mobile devices.
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues, including desktops, printers, and large multifunction devices.
• Provide network support, from device connectivity to VLAN configuration, and configure non‑traditional network‑attached devices.
• Develop workflows and solutions in collaboration with IT engineering groups to resolve complex problems.
• Support audio‑visual and video‑conferencing solutions locally and globally, including event AV setup and occasional out‑of‑hours support.
• Create instructional documentation and translate technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of professional experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, printers, software, and IP networks in an enterprise environment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience supporting audio‑visual events.
• Experience with Microsoft technologies.
