About the role
The Business Analyst (Software Acquisition and Installation Support & Program Support) is an enterprise‑critical position that bridges OTECH Business Systems, Supply Chain Management, IT operations and program leadership. The role drives the full lifecycle of software acquisition, deployment and ongoing support while providing analytical and administrative assistance to program teams.
Key responsibilities
- Support end‑to‑end software acquisition and installation for enterprise systems, from requirements gathering through vendor coordination and rollout.
- Ensure compliance with acquisition policies, cybersecurity, supply‑chain and IT standards throughout the software lifecycle.
- Coordinate release management, version control and deployment scheduling with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Provide analytical support for program teams, preparing executive briefings, risk reports and acquisition documentation.
- Track high‑priority software issues with system administrators and ensure resolution within SLA terms.
- Facilitate cross‑functional engagement with SCM, Finance, IT and end‑users to harmonize processes and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain knowledge assets such as the System and Reports Catalogs, keeping them accurate and accessible.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, business administration, industrial engineering, supply‑chain management or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in business systems analysis, process administration, enterprise systems administration or system integration.
- Experience in functional domains such as engineering, operations, supply‑chain, finance, contracting or IT.
- Proven ability to develop functional specifications, SOPs, workflow diagrams (Visio) and stakeholder presentations.
- Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and requirements gathering.
