Investment Officer – Private Equity

About the role

The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund’s Office of Investment Management is seeking an Investment Officer to join its Private Markets, Private Equity team in New York. Reporting to the Senior Investment Officer, you will help manage a multi‑billion‑dollar portfolio of private equity and real‑asset investments.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Investment Officer in allocating and managing private equity and real‑asset assets to meet strategic and performance targets.
• Monitor portfolio holdings, conduct security analysis, and ensure compliance with risk‑control parameters.
• Integrate Principles of Responsible Investment into analysis and reporting.
• Prepare and present periodic portfolio reviews and risk assessments.
• Perform fundamental research, including financial‑statement analysis and market news review.
• Engage with external advisors, attend industry conferences, and evaluate external manager performance.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience in private‑equity or real‑asset investment analysis.
• Understanding of risk management frameworks and fiduciary responsibilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural team.
