Industrial Lead Superintendent

About the role

Greystar is seeking an Industrial Lead Superintendent to oversee the successful delivery of new construction and development projects. The role ensures projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of development and construction activities by reviewing blueprints, inspecting work, and supervising contractors.
• Monitor and manage project budgets, approve vendor invoices, and report financial resource needs.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, anticipate delays, and implement corrective actions.
• Supervise on‑site construction teams, adjust staffing levels, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior leaders, equity partners, and other stakeholders.
• Assist in assembling and managing the on‑site construction team, including subcontractors.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects in a supervisory capacity.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
• Ability to analyze financial statements, control costs, and manage vendor relationships.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to handle unexpected site challenges.
