Industrial Engineer – Manufacturing & Logistics

About the role

The Industrial Engineer will design, maintain and continuously improve work systems and time data across Bosch’s manufacturing and logistics value stream in Albion. The role focuses on flow‑oriented layouts, lean principles, ergonomics and productivity to support cost reduction and efficient production ramp‑up.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimise work system designs and time data for the complete value stream.
• Introduce industrial engineering methods and tools to ensure smooth production ramp‑up.
• Maintain plant layout according to flow‑oriented concepts, BPS principles and Lean Line design.
• Provide investment planning input by analysing production, demand and capacity data.
• Ensure ergonomic workplace design using MAE, ErgoCheck and MTM methodologies.
• Develop and update standardized work, standard times, setup and changeover times in SAP (CAPP).
• Plan workplace leveling, resource utilisation and track productivity KPIs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial or mechanical engineering.
• At least 3 years of industrial experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Detail‑oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, data‑driven environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AutoCAD.
• Advanced use of Office 365.
• Experience with SAP (including CAPP module).
• Power BI reporting.
• Knowledge of MTM ergonomic analysis.
