Industrial Electrician – 12‑hr Rotating Shifts

About the role

Nestlé USA is seeking motivated Industrial Electrical Mechanics to join our team in Springville, UT. The role focuses on troubleshooting plant power distribution, motor control, and PLC systems.

Key responsibilities

• Use test equipment such as megger, DMM, oscilloscope, amprobe, and transistor tester, and conduct instrument calibration.
• Maintain understanding of engineering drawings, document and update prints.
• Work with digital and analog electronics, logic circuits, and triac power controls.
• Maintain accurate equipment logs, communication logs, preventive‑maintenance sheets and job orders.
• Model the Springville Compass in all work‑related activities and participate in the Springville upskilling program.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required profile

• Two‑year degree or equivalent in Electrical Automation or Electrical Technology.
• At least 6 months of recent industrial electrical experience (2 + years preferred).
• Willingness to work Saturdays, Sundays, shutdowns and any shift as needed.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency with electrical test equipment and hand tools.
• Understanding of basic electrical equipment operation and troubleshooting.
• Basic computer programming knowledge, including PLCs and operator interfaces.

Required skills

• Hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical aptitude.
• Circuit board knowledge, schematics, assembly and vision‑system troubleshooting.
• Temperature control systems.
• Allen‑Bradley PLC programming (preferred).
• Experience in heavily automated environments (preferred).
